This EP is a re-mixed version of ANGLE’s video performance for the 14th edition of the Ruido Vírico online experimental music show hosted by Audiotalaia platform on the 4th of October 2020.
Although ANGLE’s process occurs normally through improvisation in situ, the geographic limitations brought about by the pandemic lead to these two pieces being created via sequential improvisation: first, Tomás recorded his improvisation, then Ivor improvised over that recording then Tomás once again over Ivor’s.
Despite the limitations of recording it on video, the overall experience was extremely positive and ANGLE plan to expand on this idea of sequential improvisation in future projects.
